SOUP KITCHEN - Mark your calendars for October! We need some one to chair or co-chair the soup kitchen in October. Please Contact Laurie Peterson by September 1st if you can coordinate this fun event.

If you have a hymn that you would like to have sung please le the office know, we will try to have one congregational favorite per week.

Please check the list on the bulletin board to see when you are listed for Greeters or Scripture Reading. If you are unable to read on your assigned day, please find a replacement. We still need people to volunteer for Fellowship.

Thank you for all those that participated in helping with this years float for the Riverboat Days Parade!

Tuesday Morning Group is now making fabric grocery bags as a fundraiser-sets of three in a nice pouch! Members, just $10; non-members, just $15.

Information

Lynn Moser has taken over the duties of the Newsletter. The plan is that the Newsletter will be out during the first week of the month. It contains the Church calendar along with lots of information about up coming events and happenings. Note the Birthdays and anniversaries that are listed as well as our prayer list. If you information that needs to get into the newsletter you can leave it at the church for Lynn. We hope to be getting the newsletter information on the web as well so that you check it out wherever you are.

Matt Pietz delivers or mails out the quarterly giving statements out to everyone on behalf of the Stewardship Committee. It is designed to let everyone know where they are in their giving to the ministry of the church. If our records and your records do not agree we need to know so that proper credit is given or if you just have questions please contact Matt.

Keeping one another in prayer is one of the important things that we do. If you have prayer request please let us know by calling the church office or by e-mail to ppcoffice@iw.net Lets be sure that we hold each other in prayer.

Session members: If you have a committee report to give please get it to the church office by Monday before the meeting so that it can be mailed with the meeting materials. Thank you for your service and cooperation.

New Members: If you are interested in learning more about the church and joining the church please contact Pastor Ken. He is organizing a new members class for all interested persons. If a regular class may not be possible for your particular schedule contact pastor Ken for specifics and alternatives.

Do we have your address? We are constantly trying to keep our data base of addresses up to date. Do we have your most recent address and phone number? If you have moved recently or if you have not been receiving our mailings, let us know. If you would like to added to our mailing list, let us know.

We have gone on TV: We are now having the Sunday worship service broadcast on either Channel 3 or 45 depending on your Cable Service provider. If you miss the service, watch us at 8 p.m. on Friday. We would still love everyone to attend worship and experience the grace and joy of God with us
